Current Obsession: Tulle Skirts

My birthday was on Wednesday, and when I peeled away the wrapping paper and the ribbon from one of my presents, I was greeted with a knee length, blush pink, tulle skirt.

I was immediately obsessed.

As a former ballerina, I have loved tulle for years, but I have never worn it off the stage.

I was hesitant on what to pair it with, but I decided on a chambray shirt, a statement necklace, and cheetah print stilettos (after carefully combing through my closet for an hour with one of my best friends).

I was, and still am, obsessed with this outfit. I was definitely the best dressed presenter at both of my presentations that day, and I got a few stares, but I loved this outfit so much, I didn't even care.

Also, I was told by several people that I looked like Carrie Bradshaw, and that was the ultimate compliment in my book.

This has been my favorite outfit of 2016, probably the chicest thing I've ever worn, and it was only fitting for my obsession of the week.

If you are ever wondering if adult women can wear tulle skirts and not look like a six-year-old, the answer, in my opinion, is yes :)
